A slight bump in the road

Bloody kangaroos. 60km south of Cloncurry. Straight under the front of the bullbar. Felt the bump but didn't seem too bad ......... until about 5 minutes later.

Has torn through the bottom plate of the bullbar and taken out the radiator (and who knows what else). Car is completely dead with no electronics. Radiator water sprayed all way back onto the trailer.

Got lucky (if you can call it that!) to have 1 bar of mobile reception - could call for help.

Got lucky again and convinced tow truck driver to bring us all of the way back to Mt Isa (180km)

Got lucky a third time and we got back in time for Andrew and his dad got a flight from Mt Isa to Brisbane this afternoon. (Andrew has to be in Hong Kong by Tuesday morning)

Now all I have to do is get the car fixed.

Still a long way home!
